Susan and Waylon Davenport, parents of two and full-time working professionals, are just like so many dedicated families in this community. The YWCA’s Affordable Child Care Program provides a sliding-scale payment plan based on income. During financial hardships, the YW Children’s Center provided the quality, affordable childcare that the Davenports needed. Like many others, “We’ve had financial issues; we’ve had car issues; we’ve had job issues. It’s just been one thing after another,” explains Susan. “The YWCA has saved us many times.”
